I have 3 guitars with batteries in. I haven't played these guitars for years so I thought I should take the batteries out. I got the batteries out of 2 of the guitars with no problems or signs of leakage. The batteries in the 3rd guitar had blown out but luckily not leaked.

This MusicMan Luke II has had a fret level and recrown. It has also had new pickups with the humbucker wired to a push/push pot for series/parallel operation. All of this is running through a super switch to allow the middle position to combine the bridge and neck pickups.

Yet another guitar in for a fret level and dress! This guitar also had new tuners fitted. The IronGear Jailhouse Rail pickups I installed a few years ago! These pickups are great, they are like a SD Hot Rails but less harsh sounding and half the price!

Here's one of those necks I levelled and dressed the other day. It's now reassembled and had a new IronGear Steel Twin II neck pickup installed. It's been setup and is ready to go!

I renovated two old guitars today. The Burswood classical came from one of the schools where I teach, the Yamaha acoustic was donated by one of my other pupils. I have cleaned, restrung with #Rotosound and set them up. They are now ready to go into school on Monday so that my guitar pupils can borrow them to practice at home.

This Fender MIM Precision Bass with Babicz bridge was a dream to setup. It ended up with a ridiculousy low action and the owner was astounded. #fender #babiczguitars

A #Rickenbacker bass. It's had two new pickups; a #SeymourDuncan in the bridge and a "toaster" in the neck. All topped of with a set of #DeanMarkley Blue Steel strings and a setup. Edit: The owner has just collected their bass apparently the bass dates from the mid 1970's

The owner of this Fender Aerodyne Bass had decided to change the neck pickup (Seymour Duncan Steve Harris) themselves. It came to me because it didn't make a sound. It turned out they had flooded the volume pot with solder and wrecked it. One new pot and a setup and the customer is a happy bunny! #bassguitar #fender #seymourduncan #guitarsetup

#gibson #LesPaul Studio. The pickup pole-pieces have been adjusted so that they match the neck radius. The tailpiece has been raised so that the strings aren't sitting on the bridge! ?? #guitar #guitarsetup

This uke came in this week. It's an electric uke and the output was dropping in and out. I traced the problem to be the jack plug that connects the pickup to the pre-amp. It's all working again now!
